The STAR program is intended for skaters looking to expand their skills in figure skating and create a strong foundation for singles, pairs, ice dance, and synchronized skating. It is taught by Skate Canada NCCP coaches and spans from the level Star 1 to Gold. It is divided into 5 categories of learning: free skate (elements and programs), skills, dance, artistic, and synchronized skating.
We offer two programs of StarSkate:
Semi-Private
The semi-private sessions are for skaters who would like to improve their figure skating skills. Coaches will provide coaching to small groups of skaters. This program is for figure skaters who have obtained their CanSkate level 4. For any questions regarding the possibility of a skater moving from CanSkate to StarSkate please send an email to info@cphull.ca including relevant information.
Private
The private sessions are for skaters who are looking to further their skating abilities through a combination of group lessons and one-on-one private lessons with a coach. All skaters must contact a coach to discuss their availability and then make arrangements to register for the appropriate sessions, the coach can assist with this. The skater must have the ability to manage their practice time independently when they are not in a lesson with their coach.
