If you would like to help the club in any way, you may speak to any board members present during your sessions or send an email to info@cpahull.ca.
Any kind of volunteer help is appreciated and helps the betterment of the club! Here are a few ideas of tasks for which volunteers are welcome.
CanSkate
During sessions
- Name tag distribution, just before the session
- Door monitor, while skaters are in their session
Special events
- Assist with decorating for special occasions (Halloween, Christmas, etc.)
- Assist with ideas for special events

Star Skate
During sessions
- Assigned parent for a specific group to take attendance and be present

- Assist with organizing special events for specific groups

Year End Show
Preparation
- Contribute to ideas and concept
- Make/alter costumes
- Assist in the show preparations the night before the show
The big day
- Be a parent chaperone for a specific group on show day, help with costume changes, and prepare skaters for their show number
- Assist at the door for program sales/distribution and ticket verification
- Manage security at the various entrance points
- Assist with decoration take down .... also a great opportunity to share ideas for the 2026 year-end show

Other tasks
- Join the Board, we always have room for new members who want to contribute to the enjoyment of skating for all club members
- Revision of club Charter, this year we will have a sub-committee that will be reviewing and updating our club charter
