CONSENT ON THE SHARING OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

I hereby understand that any information collected by Patinage Québec which concerns me and allows me to be identified constitutes personal information which will form an integral part of a file in my name held in Québec, Canada and managed by Splex Technologies inc on behalf of Patinage Québec.

I understand that it will be possible for me to access my file through my Splex account.

I also understand that this file is for the administration of figure skating and synchronized skating for the members, contributing members, and the coaches of Quebec and that the personal information contained therein will only be used for the relevant purposes of providing and promoting services for and on behalf of Patinage Québec and will be destroyed as soon as the subject of the file has been completed.

I also agree that my personal information may be communicated or disclosed to third parties who are parties to an agreement with Patinage Québec, including particularly but not limited to the skating clubs, skating schools, and regional associations of members conforming to Patinage Québec or Skate Canada.

Image Consent

By registering my minor child, considering the scope and public nature of this event, on behalf of myself and my minor child, I authorize CPA Hull and its partners to capture the child's image, and authorize CPA Hull to use, publish and distribute, on the Internet or in any other printed or electronic document, his or her image, name, surname, age, biography and performance, in whole or in part, in any form whatsoever for any purpose whatsoever. Such use, publication and distribution may include, but is not limited to the foregoing, be made on the CPA Hull website, the DailyMotion website, social networks and any printed or electronic material, in the form of text, photos, videos and keywords, for advertising, promotional, informational and educational purposes. This authorization is granted without time or territorial limits.

On behalf of myself and my minor child, I waive the right to receive any remuneration or other consideration.

On behalf of myself and my minor child, I also waive the right to privacy and any recourse against CPA Hull in connection with the use, publication and dissemination of the above personal information.

Should my child require emergency medical care due to an accident or sudden illness, I authorize my child to be taken to the nearest hospital.

Parents presence for kids younger than 14 years old

I agree to be present and stay at the arena at all times if my child is younger than 14 years old. Otherwise, the coaches may remove my child off the ice until I return.

CanSkate Rules

 

General rules:

  • Under no circumstances can parents be on the ice with their children.
  • Parents are not allowed to stay by the rink doors during the session.  Please take a seat in the stands.
  • For CanSkate (patinage plus) skaters, a parent must remain at the arena at all times.
  • A certified CSA helmet (not expired) is mandatory for all skaters registered in the Canskate programs (levels 1 to 5 inclusively).
  • For everyone's safety, please ensure that your child's outfit allows them to move freely on the ice.
  • Make sure to have the skates sharpened, otherwise children will not be able to skate.
  • Mittens or gloves must be worn at all times when on the ice. 
  • Skaters must tie their hair or have their face free of any hair in order to see properly at all times.
  • Plan to arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of the session in order to help your child get ready to start on time.
  • No form of violence, lack of respect or bullying will be tolerated, under no circumstances.

Safety rules during sessions:

  • Try and stand up quickly after a fall.
  • Look ahead when skating.
  • Pushing, playing tag or playing violent games is strictly forbidden.
  • Chewing gum, candy and drinks are not allowed on the ice.
  • Keep the ice rink doors closed during sessions.
  • No parent is allowed on the skaters' bleachers. 

Refund Policy

Registrations may be cancelled before the first session or within the first three weeks of the program. A fee of 100$ will be withheld: non-refundable mandatory Skate Canada membership (63.70$) and other administrative fees encountered (transaction fee, cost of platform usage, non profit organization, etc.).

No refunds will be provided for missed sessions.

No refunds will be provided where there is an arena closure.

A refund can be requested for medical reasons (a medical note from a physician must be provided).  The refund provided will be for the registration cost, less the 100$ non-refundable administration fee, prorated to the remaining sessions.

For Semi-Private group: Refund possible within the first three weeks of the program.  The refund provided will be for the registration cost (less the 100$ non-refundable administration fee) and the coaches fee, prorated to the remaining sessions.
